Portable current meter, also known as electric wave current meter and Doppler current meter, is specially developed for open channel velocity and flow measurement in the field by hydrological stations, factories and mines, environmental monitoring stations, farmland irrigation and drainage, hydrogeological investigation and other departments.
LS300-Bportable flow meter (hereinafter referred to as portable flow meter) is specially designed for measuring the velocity and flow rate of open channels in the field by hydrological stations, factory mines, environmental monitoring stations, agricultural drainage and irrigation, hydrogeological survey and other departments.
LS300-B type portable flow meter can be used with the flow sensor, which has been redesigned in terms of propeller spiral angle, pitch, manufacturing process and material. It is used to measure the velocity and flow of open channel, etc.

Measurement principle:
Flow rate measurement: The flow meter, driven hydraulically, has an integrated signal device that generates a revolution signal. Thus, the flow rate can be calculated from the total number of signals generated by the flow meter within a certain time unit, according to the following formula: v=a+b*R/T (m/s) (automatic calculation)
Average flow velocity (m/s) during the v first test flow period
b Propeller (or cup) hydraulic pitch (m)
a first-class flow meter constant (m/s)
T-test flow duration (s)
Total number of revolutions of the flow meter rotor in the R—T period
For a given individual flow meter, b and a are constants. Therefore, during flow measurement, the flow rate can be calculated as long as the T and R values are measured.
Flow measurement: Enter the type of cross section to be measured, and manually enter (or measure through auxiliary sensors) the water level and width of the regular cross section to calculate the cross-sectional area, and the instrument measures the flow rate Q value based on Q=V*S.
